What are some of the toughest and biggest challenges faced by Los Angeles Based companies and employers?  Join us on September 27 as we host Barbara Levine, Senior Regional Manager, Business Assistance & Development for the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation (LAEDC) to find out.

As LAEDC's Senior Regional Manager, Barbara works with industrial and commercial firms across many sectors including Advanced Transportation, Aerospace and Defense, Biosciences, and Trade and Logistics.  She covers the greater South Bay and southeast LA County areas to assess business needs, recommend strategic solutions and keep companies in business.  Many projects involve business attraction, retention, energy efficiency, and cost of doing business, permitting, city and state incentives, and site selections. She also advises management on workforce development and growth issues. Ms. Levine brings 18 years of economic and workforce experience, and 15 years marketing management experience in private and public sectors, as well as both corporate and client relationship experience in manufacturing, creative services, and healthcare organizations. She holds a BA Degree from UCLA and an MBA Degree from LMU.

Doors open at 11:45 AM for networking and lunch. Our formal meeting will begin promptly at noon.
