Business Operations Manager for a Charter School Organization

Our client is a non-profit charter school organization that operates 15 schools and serves approximately 6,500 students in South, Southeast, and East Los Angeles. They strive to raise the quality of education in the Los Angeles area and help their students thrive in their academic careers. This mission-driven organization is seeking a Business Operations Manager to add to their growing team.

Responsibilities: - Lead all non-instructional functions of the school - Executive systems, processes, and policies in all non-instructional areas - Manage a school-based operations team - Ensure the school is in compliance with all local, district, state and federal laws and regulations - Assist wtih procurement, budget management, and implementation of financial policies. - Manage and oversee the upkeep of the school’s facilities - Coordinate with finance, facility, and success team to ensure all components are running smoothly - Manage enrollment system, including student recruitment, lottery management, waitlist management, and parent/student orientations - Develop and maintain the school’s emergency safety plan - Plan and coordinate logistics for school events and activities as needed

Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree, required - Previous experience managing charter school operations, preferred - Ability to think strategically and anticipate future outcomes and events - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adjust priorities and work autonomously - Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships and work effectively in a collaborative environment
