Education: The George Washington University Law School, J.D. expected May 2019 G.P.A.: 3.679

I recently finished my second year at The George Washington University Law School. I am largely interested in transactional practice, particularly in the corporate and commercial areas, but I am also open to opportunities in litigation. Over the course of my academic career, I have accrued skills I believe will prove useful in my role as a summer intern or associate. My experience as a Managing Editor on The George Washington Law Review has allowed me to further develop my attention to detail and legal reasoning via the extensive substantive and technical edits I conduct. I also wrote a Note as a requirement for the Law Review on the topic of appraisal arbitrage in going-private merger transactions. My research on this topic greatly expanded my knowledge of the corporate sphere and introduced me to a new side of transactional practice. Additionally, during my internship with the Fourteenth Court of Appeals in Houston, Texas, I researched and wrote legal memoranda and a draft opinion for Justice Brett Busby, which helped me to improve my proficiency in legal writing .
