Required Qualifications

We are looking for a smart, and dedicated lawyer who is a self-starter with three to five years of legal experience, three of which must have been spent representing clients in real estate related matters, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, licenses, joint use agreements, easements, and land use entitlement matters.

  • Admission to the California Bar
  • Strong track record of excellent client service
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Graduation from an accredited post-secondary institution and law school is a must, as are strong academic credentials.

Desired Qualifications

  • Interest in issues relating to infrastructure, clean water, railroads, and recycling
  • Legal experience with public agencies and their rules and regulations
  • Familiarity with legal work on behalf of large institutional clients
  • Participation in CEQA/EIR process on behalf of applicants, responsible agencies, and/or consultants
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work professionally with others
  • Knowledge of land use planning and zoning rules and regulations
  • Knowledge of basic environmental matters, including basic engineering and science
  • Familiarity with construction processes and methods
  • Good organizational skills, including time maagement
  • Ability to think on your feet
