Description:
Our client is a well-known and fast-growing fashion e-commerce brand.They are seeking a Head of Operations to manage the day-to-day operations of their Vernon headquarters and Santa Fe Springs distribution center along with operational considerations in customer care.
Responsibilities:- Build and oversee a best-in-class operations and customer care team with an eye for culture, streamlined systems & processes, and cost-effective order fulfillment- Oversee ~1,500-person operation within a complex and hyper-fast-moving pace- Ensure the entire operational flow of the company is efficient and customer-centric- Design and execute plans to improve and enhance purchasing, shipping, and operations- Work directly with cross-functional internal teams as well as external stakeholders to maintain timely, cost-effective, and quality fulfillment- Collaborate with senior-level executives to manage supplier relationships, product quality, and manage a variety of supply chain initiatives- Safeguard operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures- Collaborate with others to accomplish detailed and accurate operational forecasting and achieving and exceeding budget performance on operations
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree, required - MBA a plus- 10-15 years' experience in operations - additional corporate strategy or general business operations experience a plus- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a director-level role within Operations- Experience on-the-ground with DC operations & planning- Experience managing other functions, such as procurement and facilities/maintenance, customer care, sales/marketing- D2C fulfillment operations and inventory management experience- Ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment with a roll-up-sleeves philosophy and track record
