VP of Human Resources for a Leading Real Estate Developer

Our client is a well-known, well-respected, and fast-growing entrepreneurial Real Estate Developer with communities and homes across the US. They are seeking a Human Resources Director or VP to guide and manage the overall provision of HR services, policies, and programs for the entire company. This is the first senior HR leader hire for the company, so will require an appropriate mix of strategic leadership and entrepreneurial fortitude!

Responsibilities: - Create and implement appropriate policies, programs, and practices for the company’s human resource function- Develop and monitor an annual budget that includes Human Resources services, employee recognition, and administration- Oversee and manage the work of Human Resources staff (currently a team of 3)- Establish and lead the standardized recruiting and hiring practices - Conduct investigations when employee complaints or concerns are brought forth- Oversee the company’s payroll and benefits programs- Ensure consistency in the company wage and salary structure, pay policies, bonuses, and compensation review- Ensure the company maintains compliance with labor laws and regulations in the jurisdictions in which it operates- Oversee organizational and space planning

Requirements:- Bachelor's degree, required – MBA a plus - 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in HR administrative management positions- Specialized training in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, preferred- Experience in administrating comp and benefits programs and other Human Resources programs- Motivated, high achieving individual with strong work ethic- Team player with the ability to build relationships- Willingness to work with international teams, including flexibility in scheduling calls and activities to accommodate time zone differences
