In the past decade, UCLA Health outpatient care has been transformed from a modest collection of clinics surrounding flagship hospitals in Westwood and Santa Monica, to a network of offices in San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Ventura, Los Angeles and Orange counties. Driven to provide leading-edge care in the communities where its patients live, UCLA Health now offers comprehensive primary and specialty care and related services in numerous convenient locations.  Marketing and Community Outreach Manager, Nickie Bonner, will provide an overview of UCLA Health’s current service area, how the expansion has enhanced its mission and how it is engaging with the communities it serves. We will have time for Q&A afterwards as well as a couple of networking breakout sessions. 

Meet the Speaker: 

Nickie Bonner is the marketing and community outreach manager for UCLA Health’s primary and specialty care practices in Burbank, Porter Ranch, Calabasas, Encino, Hollywood, North Hollywood, Toluca Lake and Westside Los Angeles.  Prior to her decade-long career in health care, Nickie provided public relations and communications counsel to major corporations and non-profits. She also spent many years in television news as a writer, producer and reporter with national networks including CNN, CNBC and the CBC in Canada. Married with two adult children, she holds a Certificate in Nonprofit Fundraising from UCLA Extension and a B.A. in Honors English from the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada.
