Category: Westwood

Title & Topic:
Avoiding Immigration Pitfalls.

Immigration law has been compared to the labyrinth of Crete and second only in complexity to the tax code.  He hopes to share his 17-ish years of experience from exclusively practicing immigration on both coasts to help you avoid common pitfalls and immigration misconceptions that besiege the unwary and the non-practitioners.

Bio:
Romben Aquino was at UCLA when Terry Donahue last took a team to the Rose Bowl and Ed O'Bannon led a team to Seattle that brought home a banner to hang in Pauley Pavilion.  His political science degree is gathering dust at his parents' house.  He then went to Northeastern University (the one in Bah-ston, not Chicago) to get his law degree.  During his last year of law school, he started dating a Bruin classmate who lived in New York City, signed up for the New York bar exam at the last minute, and moved there.  Although his 7 year stint in the Big Apple outlasted that relationship, he ended up marrying a different Bruin and she brought him back to the 626.  He has now been married for almost 12 years, has two very active elementary school-age children (who might or might not Zoombomb this very presentation), and a dog who loves to bolt out of the gate and take unleashed tours of Hacienda Heights.

Time will be set aside for attendee introductions, so using the video feature throughout the meeting is encouraged. Please watch the training and read the documents on the BP ZOOM Resource Center, so you are prepared for the meeting.
