Sustainability at UCLA

UCLA’s Chief Sustainability Officer, Nurit Katz, will give a virtual sustainability tour of the campus highlighting innovations across energy, water, transportation, food, landscape, and more. The campus serves as a living laboratory and demonstration site for sustainability across the region. You’ll get a glimpse of parts of campus you’ve never seen on the usual campus tours.  Nurit will also talk about ways to build sustainability into our daily lives and opportunities to get involved with the sustainability effort at UCLA.  For a snapshot of UCLA projects and organizations in this dynamic area, check out the UCLA Sustainability website at: https://www.sustain.ucla.edu.

About the Speaker:

She serves on the Executive Committee of the Luskin Center for Innovation and on the Advisory Boards of Sustainable Works and the Green Business Council of Southern California as well as the Steering Committee for the USGBC Resilience LA Initiative, the Built Environment Advisory Board for the LA Cleantech Incubator, and the leadership team for Path to Positive LA. Nurit is also working on building statewide collaboration and best practice sharing through the CA Higher Education Sustainability Conference Steering Committee.
