BP/REAG Zoom Session, April 29th – Real Estate Tax Strategies

Bruin Professionals and the Real Estate Alumni Group are teaming up to help you with real estate tax planning.  Do you feel you didn’t pay enough 2020 taxes?  Alternately, did you file a 2020 extension and are you searching for some ideas to minimize your return by the next deadline?  On Thursday, April 29th, Windes Partner and Tax Chairman (as well as fellow Bruin), Guy Nicio, CPA, MST, will give us a real estate tax primer.  He’ll discuss 1031 exchanges, opportunity zones, passive/active real estate activities, tax basis, entity structures, and that ever accurate crystal ball projection of tax rates our administrations will enact to make up pandemic shortfalls.

We will begin promptly on Thursday, April 29th at 11:30 am and end before 12:30 pm. Time will be set aside for Q&A.
