Since 2008, Alisa Shorago, J.D. has helped companies' employees with what to say and do in the workplace -- and what not to do and say – to minimize legal liability.  Alisa uses her engaging and informative training technique in a variety of contexts, including employee harassment prevention and awareness.  Alisa’s presentation to OCBP will provide:

 • An update on the law, including California law on anti-harassment policies and training

• Current best practices in workplace harassment prevention, especially in light of the diversity, equity and inclusion movement

• Techniques for avoiding Zoom pitfalls in the workplace

 Alisa has provided training for employers large (including NASA, Facebook, and Papa John's Pizza) and small. She has also spoken to media outlets and at international human resources conferences on harassment prevention. Previously, Alisa was a litigation attorney for over 15 years and taught law-related courses as a college professor. She is a proud Bruin (B.A. in English) and received her J.D. from UC Hastings College of the Law, where she started three months after our nation's Vice President graduated.
