Beverly Hills December Meeting

Category: Beverly Hills

Members David Gharakhanian and Andrea Best will give "Craft Talks," telling us how they became the people and professionals they are today.

David is a savvy and talented litigator who has a knack for thinking outside the box and delivering exceptional results for clients. He also possesses a natural ability to connect with people and empathize with those who have suffered injuries. In fact, he was in a serious automobile accident as a child that changed the course of his life in many ways, including giving him the ability to fund his college tuition and lodging from the resulting compensation he received. As a personal injury attorney, David takes great pride in making a positive influence in people’s lives.

David, who is an entrepreneur at heart, is the visionary leader of the firm and has helped expand operations over the years. He has also served as lead trial counsel on several jury trials and isn’t afraid to put his client’s fate in the hands of a jury.

Andrea’s mission is to provide you with the knowledge and expertise essential for making strategic and sound real estate decisions. An investor herself, she understands that key ingredients for successful investing include keeping abreast of market values and trends, recognizing opportunities and taking action when the time is right. Her unparalleled work ethic, her outstanding personalized service and her strict code of confidentiality have created a loyal following of luxury clients.

After graduating from UCLA with a BA in European History, Andrea taught Kindergarten/First Grade at an inner city school. She enjoyed teaching her students to read and instilling in them a love of books.

Her career took another turn when she became aware of the changing real estate landscape.  Able to capitalize on the emerging new markets, Andrea then bought, renovated and sold both residential and commercial properties. These acquisitions afforded her the means and opportunity to travel extensively and realize her dream of living in the South of France. When Andrea returned to Los Angeles, she decided to utilize her business acumen, passion for real estate and natural abilities as a facilitator to help others fulfill their dreams.

Andrea’s international clientele appreciate her friendly demeanor and genuine respect for their diverse cultural backgrounds, customs and protocols. To that end she has assembled a multi-lingual team to assist her clients if they prefer to conduct business in their native language.  As a Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS), and member of the Global Committee of the Beverly Hills Board of Realtors, Andrea is part of a world-wide network of international real estate experts, who collaborate across the globe on behalf of their clients.

Andrea’s clientele is multi-generational as well as multi-cultural. She has been designated a Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES®) for her sensitivity and understanding of the needs and challenges facing our aging population. Her innate equanimity is a valuable asset when interacting with her senior clients, their families and trusted advisors. Also certified as a Probate Real Estate Specialist (CPRES), Andrea works in collaboration with Attorneys, Executors, Administrators, Heirs and CPAs. At the other end of the spectrum is her work with Millennials, who have a wealth of internet information, but rely on Andrea to interpret the data and guide them through the process of  buying their first home.

A native Angeleno, Andrea is delighted to be able to give back to the community, especially in support of disadvantaged children, education and the Arts through such organizations as Working Dreams, Opera Noir and Center Theatre Group. On a professional level she is a member of the Century City Chamber of Commerce Women’s Business and Entertainment Law Councils, GLAAR Global Committee, and Bruin Professionals. In addition she supports our Vets through VAREP and our Seniors through the SRES Council.

Time will be set aside for attendee introductions, so using the video feature throughout the meeting is encouraged. Please watch the training and read the documents on the BP ZOOM Resource Center, so you are prepared for the meeting.
