Bruin Professionals and the Real Estate Alumni Group are teami ng up to help you with real estate tax planning. Do you feel you didn’t pa y enough 2020 taxes? Alternately, did you file a 2020 extension and are yo u searching for some ideas to minimize your return by the next deadline? O n Thursday, April 29th, Windes Partner and Tax Chairman (as well as fellow Bruin), Guy Nicio, CPA, MST, will give us a real estate tax primer. He’ll discuss 1031 exchanges, opportunity zones, passive/active real estate activ ities, tax basis, entity structures, and that ever accurate crystal ball pr ojection of tax rates our administrations will enact to make up pandemic sh ortfalls.

Guy Nicio, CPA, MST has more than 20 years of public accounting experience. He is Chairman of the firm’s Tax department and also ser ves on the firm’s Board of Directors.
