Understanding Retirement Plan Fees & How to Benchmark Them

It explains the different types of fees, the risks of revenue sharing, and the importance of evaluating both cost and value when selecting service providers. The presentation highlights when and how to benchmark fees and underscores the value of working with an experienced advisor to ensure transparency, mitigate risk, and optimize retirement plan effectiveness.
Meet the speaker:
Pete Ravani
Pete is the Managing Director of Ravani Retirement & Wealth Solutions, through World Investment Advisors, LLC. He has been in Financial Services since 1997 and has experience working with corporations, educational institutions, non-profits, and individuals.
He primarily focuses on developing and executing retirement plan solutions for businesses with $5 million to $1B in plan assets. Pete has broad experience working with private and public sector retirement plans. In his role as a Retirement Plan Specialist, he helps his clients reduce their personal liability associated with retirement plans for trustees and fiduciaries by implementing fiduciary Best Practices.
Along with 401(k) plan consulting, Pete has expertise working on 403(b) plans, 457 plans, Defined Benefit plans for closely held companies, Non-Qualified plans, and Wealth Management solutions for individuals and organizations.
He possesses industry leading credentials such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®), which provides formal training in corporate investment fiduciary responsibility, and a California Resident Life license (#0C89374).
