2025 California Employment Law Update (Including Impact of New Administration)

Meet the Speaker:

Linda Krieger

Linda Guthmann Krieger has extensive experience representing clients at trial, arbitration and mediation, and has a record of favorable outcomes. She acts as corporate counsel for several small to medium sized businesses, advising them on day-to-day employment issues.  Ms. Krieger has completed training by the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine School of Law and has been a mediator for cases in both state and federal court. Ms. Krieger is also a third-party neutral investigator assisting employers with internal employee complaints. She has also been designated as an expert witness in regard to the value of employment law cases.  Ms. Krieger is a graduate of the University of Illinois and the UCLA Law School.

Linda will be covering topics such as:

• Victim/Jury/Court leave laws

• Intersectionality Discrimination

• Driver’s License Discrimination

• Freelance Workers Protection Act

• Major changes to Private Attorneys’ General Act (PAGA)

• ICE Raids of Places of Employment; and

• Dealing with DEI changes
