Director of Human Resources

Our client is a leading distributor in the cannabis industry. They have a dynamic leadership team and are growing quite fast, so they are seeking a Director of Human Resources to lead all HR functions and recruiting efforts. Responsibilities: - Develop a human resource and recruiting strategy for the company - Lead the development and ongoing management of a culture that supports high performance - Lead the creation of a talent resource plan to position the company for rapid growth - Take the lead on resolving employee relations issues - Develop and implement programs to improve training, legal compliance, and policy administration - Maintain an in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to management of employees Qualifications: - Bachelors Degree, required (preferably in Human Resources of related discipline) - MBA, a plus (but not required) - 7- 10 years of progressive HR Generalist experience: Recruitment, Employee Relations/Labor Relations, Benefits, etc. - Proven track record as a successful HR Business Partner to executive leadership - Exceptional relationship building/interpersonal skills - Desire to be in an entrepreneurial, innovative, and fast growing culture - Energetic/upbeat attitude and proactive problem solver
