Our client, a global tech manufacturing company for energy, mobility and security sectors, seeks an experienced contracts administrator to join the US contracts team in the Los Angeles area. This is part of their legal department but is not an attorney position. About the Opportunity • Work closely with the legal team and technical experts to negotiate and administer the commercial contracting process, from set-up through the entire contacts project. This involves administration of standard and non-standard commercial contracts; knowledge of related government contracts is a plus. • Develop a deep understanding of the company’s business, products, and customers. • Cooperative, collaborative atmosphere. About your Qualifications • At least 5 years of relevant work experience and demonstrated proficiency in contracts/subcontracts administration and/or negotiation. • Contracts experience in the semiconductor, aerospace or electronics industry is a plus. Experience specifically within a manufacturing industry (as opposed to service industry) is strongly preferred. • College degree; Must have practical business sense and understand the commercial and technical details of the contracts. Other Requirements • Local candidate preferred; will relocate but candidate must accept the cost of living in the Los Angeles area. • German language skills a plus. • Some travel required: Expect one international trip annually plus one or two multi-day domestic trips per quarter.
