In this meeting, Michael will discuss cyber habits that both individuals and businesses should have in place to protect themselves.

Meet The Speaker

Michael Leonard has over 30 years of IT experience and training. His journey into the world of technology began in high school, continued through his time in the U.S. Navy, and led to him starting Compunet Technologies in 1997. Compunet’s focus is on protecting and supporting small businesses and managing all their IT technology. Michael’s passion is for small business owners and helping them take off their ‘IT Hat’ so they can stop worrying about their technology and instead focus more on managing and growing their business. He is a continual learner and stays up to date on the latest technologies, cyber threats, and industry standards so he can better serve his clients. He believes in giving back to the community and does this through serving in his church, local Chamber of Commerce, and on several nonprofit boards. He lives in Southern California with his wife, Alicia. They have a close-knit family and enjoy spending time with their adult children and especially their first grandbaby.
