Meet The Speaker:

Ben Kelley is a versatile individual with a rich background in various fields. Born and raised in Dayton, Ohio, he developed a passion for industrial design during his formative years. This passion led him to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from the College of DAAP at the University of Cincinnati, graduating in 1997. 

During his college years, Ben gained valuable experience through internships at Huffy Bicycles in Dayton. There, he showcased his creativity and expertise by designing a kids' pedal system and creating impressive product displays for showrooms. Additionally, he ventured into event management, successfully organizing an amateur stunt rollerblading competition series across the Midwest. Ben's ability to negotiate contracts, handle advertising, and manage the entire operation highlighted his strong organizational and leadership skills. 

After graduation, Ben joined Soap Shoes, a startup in Torrance, California, where he assumed the role of Director of Research and Development. He played a pivotal role in designing, creating, testing, and manufacturing the product, ultimately holding four utility patents for his innovative contributions. Ben also oversaw the testing program and appeared in promotional videos, showcasing his dedication and commitment. His responsibilities extended internationally, as he traveled to Korea and China to manage manufacturing and production. Furthermore, Ben's expertise and eloquence allowed him to speak at national and international sales meetings. 

With a desire to explore different industries, Ben transitioned into the flooring sector, working as an outside sales representative for renowned manufacturers. As the territory manager for Los Angeles, California, he expanded key accounts, including A&D, Dealer, and End User, achieving remarkable sales milestones. Ben's partnership with David Garcia led to an exceptional achievement, as they recorded the largest sales volume in Mannington's history, amounting to $9 million. 

Throughout his career, Ben has ventured into various fields, including foundries and metal casting, where he showcased his artistic side by creating metal parts sold in art galleries. His passion for real estate investment also flourished, starting with the acquisition and management of single-family houses in Cincinnati and expanding to multi-family properties in California through the partnership known as Multifamily Geeks. Ben's entrepreneurial mindset and utilization of the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) facilitated the growth of his teams and allowed them to invest in 1800 units within a span of two years. 

In 2013, Ben embarked on an entrepreneurial journey alongside his wife, establishing a successful rendering and drafting company serving interior design teams and architects. With their dedication and implementation of EOS, the business flourished, growing to 20 employees and expanding its reach to both Los Angeles and the Philippines. Although Ben eventually decided to step away from the company, his expertise in implementing EOS led him to help others in their businesses, becoming an EOS implementer since 2021. 

Outside of his professional pursuits, Ben resides in Redondo Beach, California, where he has been happily married to his wife, Vanessa, for over a decade. He cherishes quality time spent with his family and nurtures his love for travel and cycling. Ben's artistic inclinations fuel his passion for art as a hobby, while his thirst for knowledge and personal growth drive him to speak at various venues, both large and small. Additionally, he actively contributes to his community by teaching art in his son's second-grade class and coaching his son's soccer team.
