Meet the speaker: Darleen Armour

Darleen Armour is a Managing Director for the Financial Valuation and Consulting practice with Marshall & Stevens Incorporated. She is responsible for all financial and multi-disciplinary assignments in the West Region. Ms. Armour also chairs the firm’s National Financial Technical Standards Committee.

Ms. Armour has over 35 years of experience in the valuation of business entities, ownership interests in business entities and asset holding companies, and intangible assets. Her experience includes valuation of businesses, intangible assets, and securities for financial reporting purposes (purchase price allocation, fund/portfolio valuations, impairment analyses), estate and gift tax reporting, deferred compensation/stock options (IRC 409A), fairness opinions, solvency opinions, ESOPs, litigation support, infrastructure project finance and IPO/M&A advisory.

Ms. Armour has provided valuation services to public and private companies including start-ups, family-owned businesses and private equity-backed companies; private equity, infrastructure and hedge funds; shareholders; investors; and attorneys; among others. Her experience spans all industries including consumer products, retail, food & beverage, manufacturing & distribution, software, entertainment companies and assets, oil and gas, renewable energy projects, technology companies and related intellecual property, among others.
